Be the bridge between a shelter and a forever home.

Every day in Texas, countless dogs land on euthanasia lists through no fault of their own. At Pip’s Pup Pack Rescue, we want to save them all, but we can’t do it without fosters.

When you foster, you are literally saving a life. By opening your home for just 1–3 months, you give a dog the chance to:

  • Decompress from the stress of the shelter
  • Learn the love of a home, maybe for the first time
  • Practice basic manners and house training
  • Build trust through patience, kindness, and companionship

We provide all food, supplies, vet care, training support, and a foster mentor. You provide the safe space and love that make rescue possible.

Worried about time or your own pets? Fostering is flexible! Whether you work full-time, have pets of your own, or live in a quiet home, there’s a foster match for you.

Without fosters, we can’t pull dogs from euthanasia lists. With fosters, dogs get a second chance. Will you be their safe place?

Lend your time and skills

We’re a small, volunteer-run rescue, and there’s always more work than people to do it. You don’t have to live near Texas to help. Most of what keeps us going can happen from wherever you are.

  • Drive even one leg of a transport, or pick up a dog from the shelter on the way to their foster home.
  • Take a handful of good photos and a short video. That’s often what gets a dog noticed and adopted.
  • Write posts and answer comments so our dogs stay visible online.
  • If grant writing or fundraising is more your speed, we’ll take that too. Words or spreadsheets, it doesn’t matter.
  • Sit on reference calls and move applications along so dogs get out of the shelter faster.

Got a skill we didn’t name here? Email us. We’ll find a place for you.
