Chelsi & Juno’s story
THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TEXAS. HER ADOPTION DONATION IS $400 AND INCLUDES TRANSPORT. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO AS IT INCLUDES INFORMATION AS TO OUR SCREENING PROCESS.
***Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time***
We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.
We are looking for a home to adopt BOTH Chelsi and Juno. They have lived most of their lives in one home. Their own fell on some really hard times and ultimately was no longer able to keep them. He did not want to take them to a shelter and we have been able to find temporary housing for them. They are not necessarily bonded in the can't be separated sense, but have spent so many years together. The donation covers both their transport costs!
Chelsi, 8 years old, spayed female, Malinois mix, 65 pounds. Juno, 7 years old, neutered male, Pitbull mix, 68 pounds.
They are both located in HOUSTON, TEXAS and would transport once an adopter is approved.
These two are the perfect balance of fun and comfort. Outside, they're a whirlwind of wrestling matches, tug-of-war games, zoomies, and endless games of fetch (although don't expect the ball back anytime soon!). Inside, they completely transform into affectionate cuddle bugs who just want to be close to their people. Whether it's curling up on the couch, sleeping in bed with you, or fighting over who gets to snuggle under the fuzzy blanket first, they are happiest wherever you are.
Meet Juno
Juno is the confident, outgoing charmer of the duo. He's playful, curious, incredibly affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure. He loves learning, enjoys making people laugh, and has never met a car ride he didn't love. He's the type of dog who believes personal space is overrated—if you're sitting down, he'll happily climb into your lap for cuddles. Juno enjoys playing with other dogs who understand appropriate play and can gently correct dogs that don't respect boundaries.
Meet Chelsi
Chelsi is the sweet, intelligent girl who simply needs a little time to warm up to new people. Once she knows you're safe, her loving personality shines. She's incredibly attentive, eager to learn, and loves making her people proud. Chelsi is playful, affectionate, and happiest when she's spending time with the people she trusts. She knows "down," is highly trainable, and forms deep bonds with her family.
Together, they make each other better. They keep one another entertained, provide comfort and companionship, and settle beautifully after they've had an outlet for their energy.
Both dogs enjoy playing with other dogs and have lived successfully with dogs of different sizes. They especially enjoy dogs that understand healthy play. They're excited to greet new canine friends and generally just want everyone to join the fun.
Because they are energetic, we'd love to see them in an active home where they can enjoy daily walks, playtime, hiking, or adventures with their family. The good news? Once they've burned off some energy, they're perfectly content to spend the rest of the evening snoozing by your side.
Both are house-trained, are comfortable in crates (especially when their crates are next to each other), ride wonderfully in the car, and absolutely love being included in family activities.
A few things to know:
Chelsi is not a good fit for a home with cats. Due to their enthusiasm and size, they would likely do best in a home with older children or adults. Both thrive with positive reinforcement and would love a family that enjoys continuing their training.
The person who knows them best said these two "literally saved my life." That's the kind of bond Chelsi and Juno create. They don't just become pets—they become family.
If you're looking for two loyal best friends who will fill your home with laughter, adventure, unconditional love, and twice the cuddles, Chelsi and Juno are waiting to meet you.
Please note our process starts with an application. If we think you might be a good fit, we will reach out to coordinate a phone interview. This is followed by a video call with the foster home. Virtual home visit, personal and vet reference checks are required to complete the process. Transport is included in our adoption donation.
